I have a problem, I’ll admit. I was not naturally born with a coffee addiction. However, I think I’ve successfully altered my body’s required intake of daily caffeine. To satiate my addiction, I’ve spent a great deal of time educating myself on the best value for my money.
My coffee routine
I believe that sharing my coffee intake routine would be helpful for those of you who are wondering if this coffee guide could be beneficial for you. I typically have a cup of coffee in the morning shortly after waking up. Depending on the day, I can skip coffee in the morning and be just fine. Also depending on the day, I sometimes opt for an afternoon latte.
What you need to know about Nespresso
I’ve been a Nespresso advocate for many years, and I can tell you that the brand offerings have come a long way. I currently have the Le Cube (old model) and the Vertuo. I’ve grown very attached to my Vertuo as new size options have become available. This machine allows me to take control over the size of beverage that I want to enjoy, which is fantastic. My absolute favorites are below:
Top 3 reasons to love Nespresso
- You have the flexibility to enjoy as much as you desire. Unlike a traditional pot of coffee or a Keurig, the Nespresso pods come in 5 varying sizes. I often get choosy with the amount of coffee I drink day by day. I appreciate having the flexibility to choose the amount I drink.
- The company is amazing. Josh has positively influenced me to focus on sustainability and recycling regularly. The connection of sustainability to Nespresso is the amazing recycling that the company offers. Free recycling collection bags are available online and in stores. After filling the bag with used pods, simply bring the bag back or use the prepaid shipping label to send it back.
- The flavors are to die for. With the change in seasons, Nespresso produces amazing flavors to indulge in. My current favorites are the Master Origins.
If you’re considering a Nespresso machine, be sure to stop by a location with a coffee bar. The latest trip to a Nespresso coffee bar for me was in the fall, so the featured latte offered was a cinnamon maple beverage. The bar offers all types of coffee and espresso, for free!
The colorful coffee wall is an exciting
While I’m partial to Nespresso, I always enjoy seeking out local coffee shops in different cities. I’m dying to try new coffee houses in the D.C. area. Please share your favorites in the comments below!
