As I mentioned, I love my cooler tones. So, my neutral tone to bring balance to my wardrobe is often a lighter gray. I also love camel as it’s a timeless staple. My other current favorite is transparent anything. I wear the clear booties EVERY chance I get because they literally can fit in with any outfit.
Any shade of pink complements my skin tone, so I have overloaded my closet with feminine colored pieces. If you aren’t planning on upgrading your wardrobe for the change in season, be sure to look for a common color with several variation that you see in your clothes to avoid feeling like you don’t have enough to wear!
When you’ve identified your color, pick others pieces of the same color varying in bold and dark shades. I pick some bold items to wear on sunnier days, and the darker shades to wear on gloomier days. With this (not foolproof) system, I blend in the neutrals periodically.
